"Performance duo Nicholas & Warner present their latest collaborative effort detailing the mixed contextualization of characters in a world demanding of efficiency & adaptation.
"Spectacular Gestures that don't change a thing" is situated within a bizarrely ritualized birthday party as characters attempt an escalation of individuality over role-fulfillment. As we fluctuate between archived & fictional memory we struggle with the vaugueries of where we are going & what our presence at this moment means. This presence can be seen as a heroic feat, and these humble, uncertain moments, mile markers of our viability.
Featuring Charles Mahaffee & Jamison Boudreau as "The Hands",
Matthew Nicholas as "The Sitting Man", Eric Warner "The Active Man",
& Rachel Levi as "The Dodo".
