Mary Maughelli’s work deals with images of women, mainly torsos and faces, as well as symbols which are interwoven with memories, action or exercising figures, and historical references to women as depicted in art of the past.  These works are 9 x 12 inches in size and use collage and mixed media on handmade paper.  The work is grouped in double rows of 3 to 4 pieces creating a grid-like unit.
