Proximity magazine contributor, AREA magazine founder and all around awesome guy, Daniel Tucker, is planning an interventionist public art project called Visions For Chicago Project.

“Hundreds of handmade election-style yard signs will be collected from politically-engaged Chicagoans throughout the city addressing their visions for Chicago. This Mayoral election season is unique in many ways and is a crucial time to highlight visions for the future of the city, which has been so stifled in recent years through voters frustration and helplessness.  A color portrait of each signmaker will be taken and included in a book on Green Lantern Press released on May 16th, 2011 (the day an unknown individual will take office as Chicago’s next Mayor). ”
